• 182 DEGREE FULL-FRAME FISHEYE: This 11mm fisheye covers a 182° angle of view across the diagonal of a full-frame sensor and fills the frame corner to corner with no black edges. The curvilinear projection is deliberate - straight lines bend and subjects near the edge stretch, which is the effect a fisheye is bought for.
• ELEVEN ELEMENTS IN SIX GROUPS: The optical formula uses four high-refractive-index elements and two ED low-dispersion elements with an IMC multi-coating, and centre sharpness is good at f/2.8 and excellent from f/4. The whole field peaks between f/5.6 and f/8, where the corners catch up with the centre.
• NO FILTER THREAD, DE-CLICKED RING: The bulbous front element sits behind a fixed, non-removable metal sunshade and there is no filter thread, so screw-in ND or CPL filters cannot be used with this lens - exposure is controlled by the f/2.8 to f/22 range instead. The aperture ring is de-clicked and turns steplessly for silent exposure changes while recording video, and the aluminium body weighs 550
• EIGHT-POINT SUNSTARS AND CLOSE FOCUS: The eight-blade iris produces eight-branch sunstars from f/5.6 that stay well defined through f/11 and f/16, which suits night cityscapes and creative low-light work. The 0.17m minimum focus distance lets you place a subject almost against the front element for exaggerated perspective, and focus breathing is low enough for video use.
• SET-UP FOR L MOUNT BODIES: No electronic contacts, so enable release-without-lens on your body and register 11mm for stabilisation. Fits LUMIX S5II, S5IIX, S9, S1II, S1RII, S1H, Leica SL3, SL3-S, SL2, SL2-S, Sigma fp, fp L and BF. Leica SL bodies have no release-without-lens switch; LUMIX S bodies prompt for lens data at start-up. Focus and exposure are set on the lens: no autofocus, no EXIF data
