• NEEDS A FLAT STEEL AREA OF 18 x 13.3 CM: Fit the oval UK sign to the rear of your vehicle on a clean, dry, flat steel area at least as large as the magnet, so every edge touches the panel. Avoid panel gaps, badges, creases and edges over glass or trim, as a lifted edge can catch the wind. Do not fit it on the number plate.
• UK IDENTIFIER FOR DRIVING IN EUROPE: UK stickers replaced the old GB sticker in 2021. Gov.uk guidance says you need one unless your number plate shows the UK identifier with the Union flag, and in Spain, Cyprus and Malta you need one whatever your plate shows. Not needed in Ireland. For road trips to France and across the EU.
